Aqua Planet – Cuda 2023 Model (most recent)
Extra-long design for added stability
Comfortably fits 1-2 people and/or a pet (depending on size)
Ideal for longer trips and carrying extra luggage
Smooth glide on the water, though slightly harder to turn due to its length. It also has a GoPro screw mount for recording your adventures.
(Longer boards track straighter and carry more weight, which is why they’re commonly used for touring and extended paddles)
The Boring (but important) parts
🦺 Buoyancy Aids (BA)
Buoyancy aids are strongly recommended and are provided with all hires.
All customers are encouraged to wear them at all times on the water.
✍️ Waiver / Liability
All customers must complete and sign a waiver before equipment is hired.
This confirms you understand the risks involved in paddleboarding and agree to follow the safety guidance provided.
🌊 Safety Responsibility
Paddleboarding is undertaken at your own risk.
Customers are responsible for assessing weather, water conditions, and their own ability before use.
👤 Fitness to Participate
By hiring equipment, you confirm that:
You are physically fit to participate
You are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs
You understand how to use the equipment safely (or will ask for instructions)
👶 Age / Supervision (if relevant)
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Minimum age requirements may apply depending on conditions and equipment.
🌬️ Weather & Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse hire or request early return of equipment if conditions are unsafe.
💰 Damage / Loss
Customers are responsible for any loss or damage to equipment during the hire period.
📍 Local Compliance
Customers must comply with all local waterway rules and navigation regulations.

I took the board from Harbourside. The pick up was right behind the SS Great Britain. So really close to the water. Beware! The Harbourmaster will try to charge you £15 for paddling in the harbour for ‘small craft insurance’ for the day. The Irish guy warned me about this on the day. The easiest way to pay is via the app, ‘Sail Bristol’ it before you go on the water. Overall, a good day out.
